I was approached to try out the new Griddle Melts at IHOP. My family just loves going there for breakfast, so I said yes because I wanted to try something out for Lunch there. They just recently opened (well maybe a year ago, feels new still) an IHOP in my area. It’s been hopping ever since and the service and staff are so nice and quick. Plus you can’t beat their prices to boot.
Griddle Melts at IHOP
There are 3 flavors that you can choose from:
- Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese - Sautéed fresh spinach in a fluffy egg omelet topped with roasted red peppers and onions, melted Provolone, Parmesan and Pepper Jack cheeses on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.
- Western – Smoked ham and sautéed peppers and onions in a classic omelet, topped with sliced ham, melted American cheese and served on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.
- Ham & Egg Melt - Sliced ham and melted Swiss and American cheeses over a fluffy egg omelet served on grilled artisan sourdough bread. Served with your choice of hash browns, French fries or seasonal fruit.
Now I tried out the Spinach, Roasted Pepper & Cheese. It was sooo delicious! I will be ordering that again. Cory was going to get that one, but decided on the Ham & Egg Melt instead. But he had a bite of mine and said mine was better. Not that he didn’t enjoy his own though! But he figured he wasn’t going to like the roasted peppers, but I guess he did. So I know what he’ll be getting next time!
I also like how you can order as a side the hash browns, french fries or a bowl of fruit. I decided on the french fries and Cory the hash browns. I’ve never had IHOP’s french fries before but boy were they good. I am a stickler for good french fries!
