The Cuisinart Griddler Is Amazing!

89 Flares 89 Flares ×

Cuisinart GriddlerNow I have owned a Cuisinart Griddler for almost 5 years now, but I got a newer one recently from Best Buy. Boy did they change some things on there that I am just loving. I wouldn’t think they would upgrade something that is already awesome, but they did. I’m glad they did.

I have used the Griddler for many things in the past. But I love to make paninis, pork chops and pancakes on them! It just makes it easier and quicker. Cory’s mother I guess really made dry pork chops when he was growing up, but the Griddler cooks them nicely and they are still juicy on the inside. No Pork Chop Jerky in this house! Chicken is pretty awesome as well with the Griddler.

The changes I have noticed is that there aren’t 2 plates anymore, just 1 that is reversible, and they are a lot lighter then the ones before. So that means less room is being taken up where I store them, and just easier to handle! Also there used to be a separate drop dish, for if things start leaking out of the sides… now it’s attached to the bottom of the Griddler! I have only used it once in the past, and I frankly don’t know if I have the drop dishes anymore!

For Hunter’s first day of school I made him some pancakes with chocolate chips in them, using the Griddler. It was quick and easy and the cleanup was really a breeze.

Pancakes made on Griddler

He wanted heart shaped pancakes so I got a small heart cookie cutter out and went to work. I may or may not have burnt my fingers. Haha.

Here are the pork chops I made on the Griddler. First cooking and then done. I love the grill lines on them!

Did you also know that Best Buy also sells OXO products? I know I was in shock too because I was not expecting that, but it does make me happy! I love OXO products because they are stackable and a great way to store food. I was going to use pancake mix for one of the containers, but Landon wanted me to put the mini muffins we made in there instead. Both boys now how to work the top so it is easily accessible for them. Which is good since Hunter has been waking up before anyone else, so he can grab a muffin or two for himself and let us sleep in a bit more.

The Cuisinart Griddler is sold at Best Buy online or in stores for $99.00.

What would you make on a Griddler if you owned one?

Note: I am a Best Buy Brand Ambassador. I was provided these products in order to review them. No other compensation was provided for this post.

  1. Ummmm, yea, can you tell my husband I want this griddle for Christmas?! It’s beautiful!!

  2. It sounds like quite a useful piece of kitchen equipment. I’ve been reading such rave reviews on it.

  3. Wow, it looks amazing, and what a great price! It’s a great gift idea for hubby :)

  4. Okay wait, how many pieces of chicken went on there and is it tough to clean?

    • 3 pieces of porkchops. I could probably add a 4th but we don’t need it. And it’s SUPER easy to clean. It’s pretty non-stick on it’s own and quick rinse by the dishwasher (ala me.) and it’s done.

  5. That griddler looks awesome! I used to have a small indoor grill but I killed it, I miss cooking on it. Mine didn’t have the reversible plates like this on e though, how neat!

  6. Sooooo awesome! I am so putting this on my ‘need’ list :) How cool is it that it has reversible plates AND both sides can lay flat to cook on?!

  7. I have this griddler in the bottom of my pantry. I bought it a few years ago and never used it. You make me want to pull it out and use it more! I never thought to use it for pancakes.

    • It’s pretty much the one thing that I use it the most for. Haha. It’s so much easier to make pancakes this way. :) Hope you do pull it out and use it soon! Make your life easier.
