This was our trip to Utah. I was 8 months pregnant with our second child and we were taking a road trip with our 2 year old. While driving to Idaho we were specifically told to avoid one road which was an unfinished road and was rocky and bumpy because of a recent landslide. My husband was careful enough not to take it while going but while coming back he forgot all about it and followed the GPS. Lo and behold, we ended up on that road and we kept driving hoping the road will get better soon. My toddler was excited with the bumpy ride even though I was getting nauseous and scared to go in labor.. But at the end, we were safe back home and thank god for being there for us on the adventurous ride.

As kids, my parents took my cousins, brother and I on a road trip to Cape Cod. We took our time on this trip, making many overnight stops. My Dad, not one to ask for directions, got lost often, always to deny that he was lost. At one point, when we reached Cape Cod, he went down a dead end street….the street ended into a cemetary. We laughed so hard…dead end street/cemetary. It just hit us as being so funny and we couldn’t stop laughing. Needless to say, Dad said he wasn’t lost again.
Many years later, we still laugh at this trip.
By the way, a few years ago, my brother and I got my dad a GPS.
Thanks so much for this giveaway.

We went with my husband on a business trip when my daughter was 2. It ended up being the worst 12 hours of my life lol! She hated being in the car, she would not sleep and screamed the whole way. It was horrible! Once there, things went great, but the way back was horrible again! We have yet to go on another road trip and she is 5!
