Sodastream Review and Giveaway

Giveaway now closed.

The first time I ever saw the Sodastream was when I was up late at night with Landon when he was just an itty bitty tiny baby. So that was back probably in late September or early November that I saw it. And I fell in love. Than I kinda forgot about it until I remembered it one day and did some research on it. I worked my business, and I was able to do a review and a giveaway for one!

Sodastream And Flavors
Really the day that I got the yes to do the review I was running around my house, jumping for joy. I really think my kids thought I was going crazy. I was super excited the day that it came! It came right before dinner, so I hooked it all up right then and there. Cory and I enjoyed Orange Mango that night with dinner. It is a very interesting flavor, and pretty darn delicious. It’s nice and mellow. My husband was very surprised on how well the Soda Stream worked. I will say he was impressed.

We haven’t bought a single bottle of soda since we have gotten the soda stream. I don’t know how much we have saved, but I will say probably at least $20 – 30 so far. We only buy store brand soda now, but if you are buying the name brand stuff you will save a ton more. One bottle equals out to be 33 cans of soda! Now that is a lot! The carbonator will carbonate 110 liters of water. Now that is a TON! It does cost $29.95 to exchange the carbonator, but in my book that’s totally worth it. You will be saving money from not buying soda and you are helping out the environment. Another awesome feature that I love is that it’s not plugged into anything! You can bring it in to any room, out with you to the park if you are having a party or picnic. It is incredibly awesome.

Now I was scared the first time to press the button. I didn’t know how loud it was going to be. And I’m still getting the hang out of it after 2 weeks. I just have to remember to press down harder. I love all of the different flavors you can choose from like Cranberry Raspberry, Diet Peach Iced Tea, and your regular kind of sodas that you enjoy now. Also they have syrup to help you flavor your water. It’s endless of what kind of drinks you can make with this!

Please remember to read the directions though! Because I forgot to tip the bottle once when I was adding the syrup. Can we say explosion! Haha. I was like dur Alison. TIP THE BOTTLE! Now I know why they ask you do to that. I did it so you don’t have too!

My friend has one of these and I love it! I think ginger ale, orange mango, and diet pink grapefruit sound delish.
