Keep Your Brain Exercised With these Puzzle Books – Giveaway

I got the chance to try out 3 different Puzzle Books. 2 by Puzzle Barons and one by The Complete Idiots Guide. I would have loved this for my Brandcation trip while I was flying, but it was perfect for when I was traveling on a train to an event in NYC! Usually I putz around on my phone but my battery dies quickly whenever I go into the city. So I decided to exercise my brain instead.

The exact books I got to try out were the The Complete Idiot’s Guide® to Picture Puzzles, Vol. 2, Puzzle Baron’s Sudoku and Puzzle Baron’s Logic Puzzles, Vol. 2.

Now I’ve been addicted to playing Sudoku on the iPad. Apparently I’m much better on there then on paper. I was horrible at it haha. And then the logic, I was so not good at those either! I did get one game completed right, and I’m determined to get more done right. What I love about the Picture Puzzles though is that the pictures are actually in color! Makes it so much more fun to do those, and I’m actually good at those!

It’s been pleasant not just using the books while traveling, but also at night time when the kids are asleep. I usually just use that time to give my brain a rest and just zone out to TV, but this is a better way to get my brain moving and grooving. Plus it’s a lot of fun, when I’m winning!
