This is my first year dealing really with the Back To School madness! And I can’t believe I’m already thinking about it because ours isn’t until September since we live in NY. Buuuut I’m excited and overwhelmed all at the same time! I don’t know how this all works, and this will be the first time that Hunter will be gone all day at school. It seems like such a long long time. I did pick up some stuff from Target cause I think they were a good price? Picked up a Star Wars lunch bag and thermos… well 2 thermos since Landon wanted one too haha. I hope that the school/teacher will send a letter before school starts so I can get the rest? I just don’t know how it works.

I can’t believe back-to-school is so close! ours go back August 28th! besides clothes, we have to pick up lunch totes, bookbags, binders and pencils. I don’t even know what else!
I need to get him a new bookbag.. probably Star Wars too. He’s outgrown the Thomas stage. I may cry a little on that.

Great giveaway! We just went school shopping to the tune of $300 and that’s WITHOUT pants, skirts, etc. Just supplies and uniform shirts. It’s going to be a long year.

That is a lot of money! We don’t have uniforms here, but I bet that may hurt us in the long run.
You should check your school’s website – our school has the lists posted all year round. Some schools are quite picky about what they want or don’t want the kids using. If you live near a Menards, it is best to wait for the stuff they carry – they will have major rebates, but they don’t typically have everything on the list.

Back to school already, where did the summer go? Oh yeah, I remember. I spent most of it melting. Jake starts his sophomore year in high school, wow!
I love back to school shopping. Although it can get really expensive, it’s sooo fun. I’m hoping to get an early start this year.

This year will be little man’s first year in school!
Well we homeschool year round so we never really have “back to school” per say in our home, but when fall rolls around we make sure we do all our ‘medical’ appointments, dentist, doctor etc.,
That’s good that you get all of that stuff done in the fall. At least it’s a set time to do it.
