Happy Feet Two Review & Giveaway – Plus There’s An App For That!

I am a lover of Happy Feet! I adore that movie. Yesterday I got to watch Happy Feet Two with my boys on Blu-Ray! I just want to say that I love how companies are now incorporating other technology to go along with the movie. Case in point. There is a Happy Feet Two App that you can download right now (it’s free!), and it will sync up with the movie. So their is an interactive play screen on the iPad and the movie on the TV.

Hunter really enjoyed the App at the beginning of the movie. He was making Erik dance all around in the opening sequence. He thought it was broken a little while later… but I checked out the screen and told him that they are showing you how they made the penguins dance. Hunter, at 4, may be a little young for the things they were showing him, but I thought it was awesome. He didn’t use the App the whole way through this time, mainly because he got so engrossed with the actual movie. But I’m sure when we watch it next time he’ll use the App more.

Happy Feet Two will be released on March 13th. But you can download the App now and enjoy some of the fun things on their, that you don’t need to sync up with the movie for. It’s going to be released in a Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, a Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD.

Synopsis:
Mumble, The Master of Tap, has a problem. His tiny son, Erik, is choreo-phobic and lacks the talent of all the other penguins. Reluctant to dance, Erik runs away and encounters The Mighty Sven – a penguin who can fly! Mumble has no hope of competing with this charismatic new role model.

Things go from bad to worse for Mumble when the world is shaken by powerful forces. Erik learns of his father’s guts and grit as Mumble brings together the penguin nations and all manner of fabulous creatures – from tiny Krills to giant Elephant Seals – to put things right.

This movie was just way too adorable! The Krills may be one of my favorite part of the movie. They were hilarious, and inspiring at the same time. I loved the story line of the movie and how everyone pulls together to save the day! Both of my boys  watched the whole movie! Landon is my dancer and he was dancing around the house while the movie was on!
