Melissa and Doug has been a household name for ours for years. We love the wooden toys but it also brings out the imagination of my kids! We just got to review the Pizza Party and Food Groups.
We just adore the Melissa and Doug Play Food. Landon got to try it out first since he is home pretty much all day. He had a ball with all of it. But let me tell you, after we got Hunter off the bus and came home, either boy took of their jackets for a good 20 minutes until after we got home. Heck Hunter kept his backpack on as well! They were so enthralled with playing with the 2 Melissa and Doug sets! It was wonderful to see as well because most of the time they weren’t fighting.
The Pizza Party from Melissa & Doug :

Landon is so adorable. He has put the small milk carton next to the big one in the refrigerator. Then was showing me with use of his hands (since he doesn’t talk yet) that one was small and one was big.

I love the quality of Melissa & Doug toys! They are wonderful and last a long time (as long as your dog doesn’t chew them up). Plus there is so many things you can do and teach your kids by using them. There are a few more sets that I see we don’t have yet, so I’ll be getting those soon. they look like a lot of fun. i think the kids may have outgrown them now, but i think i would like playing with them too!
At least someone feeds me with these… although I can’t really eat it. Hehe. Fun for all ages!
You know it’s a good toy when they can’t even take the time to take their jackets off. I love toys like this that they can just play with and don’t require batteries or is some how tied to they TV.
I was shocked! They walked in and just played for 20 minutes. Usually Hunter of course wants to go on the iPad or play the Xbox when he gets home. So I was thrilled!
They are so cute! I love Melissa & Doug toys and the hands on and learning they encourage. The pizza party looks like a really fun one!

My kids have always loved these toys. There is something about these toys that takes you back a few generations. They are much better than the plastic toys that seem to be everywhere these days. These are most certainly kid tested and approved!

Oh my goodness!!! Those play food sets are super cute. My kids used to have a play kitchen with play foods when they were little but the foods were just cheap plastic things. I really like that these are made out of wood so they will last a long time. Not only that I think they are adorable.
these look like such fun old fashioned kind of toys.
I like that they were able to play together without fighting – that’s a great toy!
My son will love it ! He usually plays with spoons and plates:) The pizza party set looks great!
