First Day Of Pre-K

Well I am not a mother of a child in school. Dropped Hunter off without a hitch. I just take him out of the van and the teacher gets him. Too bad it was raining though! And the little guy was being a brat and wouldn’t let me take a picture of him this morning. So I have weird looking pictures. But at least I have something.

So I was freaking out this morning about him not having crayons. We had 2 24 packs of Crayola that were used and Cory was going to make a whole one out of them. He never did it. So I tried. They were either broken or not new looking… I was not sending him to school with that to be ostracized. Though they wanted Crayola he has Roseart right now. I may go and buy Crayola anyways. Isn’t it weird how that got my stomach in a knot this morning? I feel so silly that I’m even worrying about it!

Right now I’m just enjoying the peace and quiet. No kids fighting. Just silence. Now  I guess I should get to work on reviews that need to get done. Boo.

He’s so darn cute! I felt pressure to do the Crayola thing too, but honestly, I do like Crayola better. :)

He is so sweet…look at that face. I hate when specific brands are requested…although I like Crayola better, sometimes you just have Roseart, kwim? I had a teacher request 48 PRESHARPENED Ticonderoga pencils…lol.

Aww. Your pictures are fine. I remember the first day of school for my oldest being one of the hardest days of my life. I bent down and told him to give me a hug, and to have a good day. He hugs me, then backs up a little, looking longingly at the entrance and says, “Mom, can I just go in now?” LOL! He was ready, but I cried! That was 32 yrs ago.

Awwww I think that day is hard for all of us moms! Though I kinda can’t wait for Landon my youngest to go to school. I’m counting down the years now!

What a cutie – before you know it he’ll be in the cap and gown!
