Maybe adopt a dog that is like 3-4 years old. I heard that’s when they chill out a bit. I wasn’t thinking 1 year old dogs were… puppyish but apparently they are LOL.

He is. I should take video of him when we get home and let him out of the crate. He goes nutso.

Our house isn’t that big… and my computer desk is in the living room. And he really can only get to the kitchen and living room since we can shut doors on the rest. Hopefully he’ll calm down with age.
This is just like our old dog.

At least it’s mostly his toys. Though he did get Hunter’s lovey and it wasn’t pretty. Hunter and I were both crying.
Wow!! Hubby was looking up dogs yesterday I told him absolutely not for this very reason we have 3 kiddos under 6 and a cat I clean up enough messes I’m not ready to add another member to the family just yet
Yes I didn’t realize how many messes they made… and now I do. I bet if you got an older dog it wouldn’t be as bad.

I didn’t even get to name the dragon! LOL. It got destroyed quickly… though yeah it’s still hanging around and I think has 1 squeaker left.
Wow! Your dog loves to make a mess! My dog likes to rip stuffing out of toys to find the squeaker!
I think that’s what he does most of the time? Or he just loves to have stuffing all over the house and destroy things. I think the verdict is out still.

Baby gates won’t work, I tried it with a cocker spaniel I had and he ate through the gate!
My son had a dog that he left in the bathroom before he got a cage for it, it ate all the linoleum and part of the sub-floor! We love them regardless! Thanks for sharing!
I thought my dog was messy, but he is a neat freak comparing to yours
LOL that first pic looks like my living room floor when my dog pulls out her toys! She pulls out the stuffing in her dog stuffed animal toys and strews it all over the floor. She has regressed in house training & that by itself is driving me crazy! But we love her so what are we to do but just clean up the mess and move on. lol
