I tricked my husband with the dessert I made with COOL WHIP whipped topping. I secretly went into the kitchen and created the dessert. And when I came out with it, he thought it was a rum cake and not what it actually was. It was pretty funny!
I made an awesome Ice Cream Sandwich Cake and it was heaven! It’s summer time and we have a few boxes of Ice Cream Sandwiches in the freezer because the whole family loves them. So I decided to stack Ice Cream Sandwiches with COOL WHIP in between the layer and for icing on the top and side. It was the perfect treat, and really the hardest part was just unwrapping the ice cream sandwiches.
I will be making this again. It’s a fun and easy way to turn something that is usually a mess (Really the sandwich part of the ice cream sandwich gets all of your fingers) into something beautiful that forces you to use a fork. Now less fingers to clean and more time to eat and enjoy the Ice Cream Sandwich Cake!
